Bank of the Lowcountry’s newest Senior Vice President and City Executive.
Hampton, SC (04-14-2026) – Bank of the Lowcountry welcomes Gray L. Henderson as the company’s new Senior Vice President and City Executive responsible for leading the Bank’s entry into the Hampton, SC market.
When asked about the transition, Gray stated, “I am committed to community banking and feel that customers deserve respect and one-on-one service. Since 1997, I’ve served this community by providing customer-focused banking, and I’m thrilled to continue that journey with Bank of the Lowcountry.”

With more than 40 years of banking experience, Gray has served as the former Chairman of South Carolina Young Bankers and as the former Chairman of Hampton County Chamber of Commerce. Gray graduated from Clemson University and completed the South Carolina Bankers School, where she served as Class President and former Chairman. As well as continuing to serve the Hampton community as a trusted, local banker, she is a member of the Lowcountry Regional Housing Consortium and a volunteer for the Hampton County Library.
